BLOGS & TUTORIALS
I worked with the team at School of Motion to come up with a new tutorial idea, centered around the upcoming spooky season!
Being a fan of all things horror, I got the chance to animate a spooky eyeball and showcase how I did it. I started by creating a scary eyeball design of my own, and recorded myself building it out
From there, I created a loose outline, which eventually turned into a full script to go along with the video. I reordered a few intro and outro videos, as well as some b-roll clips, to go along with the video. With a bit of editing magic, we were able to bring this tutorial to life!

When I started as a student mentor at School of Motion, one of the things I was most excited about getting the chance to do was working on a tutorial. I had the opportunity to create my first tutorial which focused on how to design and animate a logo.
The tutorial takes students through the process of iterating and sketching out their own logo designs, bringing their sketches into Illustrator and refining their designs, and then laying out their chosen logo in After Effects to animate.

Alumni Holiday Card
Every year, the team at SOM puts together an annual animated holiday card, featuring work from dozens of alumni. I had the chance to submit my own animation for the video last year.
The theme for last year was "All I want for the holidays is more....". After becoming a proud Jeep owner last year, I thought "more adventure" was the perfect choice.
12 DAYS OF MOGRAPH CAMPAIGN
Towards the end of every year, School of Motion runs a giveaway campaign called 12 Days of Mograph, where they partner with various brands to give away prizes for 12 days straight!
This year I had the privilege of leading the design on the 12 DOMG campaign, which included creating a short promo spot, 12 daily cutdown videos, and social templates.
We kicked things off by coming up with a voice over for the main promo and designed a storyboard around it. From there, I designed out the frames and started putting together the full promo video. After the full promo was approved, we moved on to creating the 12 daily ads which featured all of the amazing prizes that were being given away.
